Huggies® New Baby Hamper Competition

    1. Participation in this Competition constitutes acceptance of these rules, terms and conditions.
    2. The Competition is open to everyone over 18 years of age (and all persons under the age of 18, if assisted by a parent or legal guardian), residing in South Africa, except directors and employees of Kimberly-Clark of South Africa (Pty) Ltd of 8 Leicester Rd, Bedford Gardens, 2008 (the “Organiser”), their merchandisers, advertising, promotional and PR agencies, agents or consultants, and all their immediate families, as well as employees and their immediate families associated with the suppliers of goods or services in connection with this Promotion.
    3. The Competition opens on 1 August 2017 and closes on 31 October 2017 at 23:59 South African time. All entries received after the competition closes will automatically be rejected.
    4. Participants stand a chance to win one (1) of three (3) New Baby Hampers each valued at a total of R9000. Each hamper consists of a R5000 Huggies® voucher, a Phillips Avent Breast Pump valued at R2200 and a R1800 Baby City voucher. A total of three (3) X R9000 hampers are available to be won [one (1) per month for three (3) months].
    5. To enter, participants will need to purchase any Huggies® New Baby nappies size 0, 1 or 2 and go to www.babycity.co.za where they will be directed to the Competition entry form. Participants must retain their till slip as proof of purchase.
    6. Participants may enter as many times as they wish to but they are only eligible to win one (1) hamper.
    7. Three (3) participants will be randomly drawn as the winners during the Competition period [one (1) 31 August, one (1) 30 September and one (1) 31 October, 2017]. If the Organiser is unable to reach a winner for whatever reason, within five (5) days post their draw date following reasonable attempts to do so, such a winner will be disqualified and the Organiser reserves the right to draw another winner in substitution, at the Organiser’s sole discretion.
    8. When contacted, arrangements will be made with the winners for delivery of their prize.
    9. Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, the prize winner agrees to accept the prize at their own risk and the Organiser will not be liable for any costs incurred by the winner when claiming their prize.
    10. Kimberly-Clark reserves the right to make media announcements and/or publications of the name and photograph of the winner, provided that the winner may elect to expressly/in writing decline this. The Organiser also reserves the right to carry out audits in respect of the winner in order to verify their eligibility.
    11. The Organiser may collect, store and use (not share) personal information of participants for communication, marketing or promotional purposes, or statistical purposes, if consent is received from the participant by means of the applicable box on the activation registration form marked as affirmative. Consumers may opt out of promotional communications.
    12. The prize is not transferable. No cash or alternative will be offered for the prize in whole or part. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Organiser reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of comparable value.
    13. The Organiser reserves the right to alter or cancel the Competition at their own discretion. In the event of such cancellation or alteration, the participants shall waive any rights they may have against the Organiser, its affiliates or associated companies. The Organiser may refuse to award any prize if any information or any irregularities or fraudulent activities are detected.
    14. Each of the three (3) draws will be monitored by a registered auditor.
    15. The announcement of a winner does not constitute a ruling by the Organiser that the winner has complied with the Terms and Condition. The Organiser may disqualify the participant after the announcement should any rule transgressions be discovered.
    16. If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser, the Organiser reserves the right to the extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any participant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition, as appropriate.
    17. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    18. The Organiser or a supplier of goods or services in connection with this Competition are not responsible for any errors, omissions and/or technical failures and/or any resultant losses or damages of whatsoever nature arising directly or indirectly from this Competition.
    19. The winners and any participants in this Competition acknowledge and agree that neither Kimberly-Clark nor a supplier of goods or services in connection with this Competition will not be liable for any loss, damage or any other liability of any nature whatsoever and howsoever arising out of their participation in this Competition or prize awarded including losses incurred during the travel period to the destination awarded in terms of the prize winnings, save for liability that is determined by law. The winner and the participants consequently indemnify Kimberly-Clark in this regard. The winner shall be required to sign an indemnification, in terms of which Kimberly-Clark is indemnified against all losses and damages whatsoever and howsoever arising, prior to accepting the prize. This is a material condition of this competition, as Kimberly-Clark shall under no circumstances accept any liability of any nature for loss or damages of the winner.
    20. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (but not otherwise) the Organiser, its agents for administering the Competition and the prize sponsors assume no responsibility and are not liable for:
      • the accuracy or otherwise of the prize description or illustration,
      • the non-availability, loss, interception or interference with, late receipt or damage of or to any prize, notification or other communication,
      • any representation, warranty, condition or guarantee in respect of a prize. the accuracy or otherwise of the prize description or illustration,
