Family and Friends First Aid for Children courses are offered throughout South Africa by St John Ambulance:

The course is ideal for parents, grandparents, babysitters, nannies, healthcare professionals or anyone involved with the care of young babies or young children. Family and Friends First Aid for Children provides the person attending the course with a basic orientation to the skills of CPR and choking for adults, children and infants.

Family and Friends First Aid for Children course content covers:

  • Environmental emergencies
